Day 3

 

Today was a very busy day and therefore I did not get as many hours as I had hoped. I started my morning off early by continuing the search for campgrounds (right after I won $4 from a scratch ticket). I did this for about two hours then transitioned to watching youtube videos on people’s experiences with traveling the United States in a van. From these videos, I learned the importance of finding gas stations and planning ahead when there is a long stretch of driving that crosses no gas stations. I then began planning my quick camping trip. I need to figure out how many people are going to be going on the overnight with me before I can go out to buy food and whatever else we may need. The rest of my day was spent at a cycling race which went on quite late so I was unable to get any more hours.
